Style P T.D. Custom 5 String Bass
A modern version of a classic bass with many client specific features. The P style body curves have been subtly adjusted to make it more slender and improve upper fret access. The scale position has also been positioned as low as possible in the body to assist left hand reach and balance specifically for the individual client who also chose the unique wood combinations used in this build. Pickup configuration and body chambering with unique front chamber cut out design mirroring the headstock curves were further customisations. Also unique was the use of Italian spruce for the top cap – for its resonance, light weight and homogenous aesthetic.

Pickups: Nordstrand custom Quad coil neck , dual coil bridge, both under custom maple with matching Italian spruce top cap
Epectronics; Passive Volume and tone with rotary switch coil selector for multiple coil variations.
Hardware: Hipshot Ultralite tuners and Style A Bridge.
